There is problem, when we are focusing on something.
With this focusing, we want meaning, reward, like emotion, situation, something to happen.
But we remember that this is just logical scheme, how reality (outer world) works.
But we know that we don't have only that, we have inner and secret, too.
We should not rely on reality. Because reality is impermanent, we know this,
this means mindfullness. This is reality, outer world. But how can be
that inner world is impermanent.

OdpovědětVymazatJust observing how we are.
OdpovědětVymazatFor example glass i see because of light.
Already in not impermanent, because in my mind i can see the glass with
light always. This is "believing what is reflected". Instead i should say
Aha the light is in this moment, it is circumstance. But how is my condition? I see
this because of my eyes, but i have mind that is reflecting, the thought of this.
In the end i don't rely on this object, i don't rely on inner reflection, but i
try to observe all this. This is correct.
But i need time to apply to believe that this is correct.
For now i can only grasp for this glass and say yes this i feel.
To understand that i can rely on my presence,
on my awareness i need to ... build something i can believe.
And dzogchen teachning says you choose whatever you like.
You like the teacher that is lke buddha statue flying, ok, believe this,
but remember - it is your choice.
You want to believe the teacher that is the teacher only when sitting on throne
and making some noise with bells, ok, you can. Whatever you prefere. But
remember, it is your construction of mind. You choose like this, you want to
believe this - purpose: to rely on your presence at the end.
So you choose whatever you need, you choose whatever you like. But always remember,
it's your choice, it's your responsibility what you choose.
Never dzogchen teacher will say "you should do this". will always say you
take your own responsibility. Because the keypoint is you become aware.
So if for me is better to think this way, to do this way, i do.
Then if for example i start to behave like.. hinduistic style, very strange.
Then a lot of people say But what are you doing?? But you don't care. You know
that this is good for you now. Then you go, what's the problem.
Important is to be aware that this is one step. I do this because it is the only
thing i can do now. I know that in the end i should rely on my presence, this
is the only absolute thing, but in relative, i have to do this, i have nothing
else. Then, this relative i don't own. Today it's like this. Tommorrow i am
like totally different style. Then poeple say but yesterday you were like this
and today oposite. what happened?? But you do;nt care. It;s not their problem
it;s your problem. you go on. but you remember final goal is not what you
are doing in this moment, final goal is to rely on your presence.
Everyday you check : my condition is like this, my circumstance is like this,
so i do this. I don;t go with ideas, like i "should do this. This is right,
this is wrong. This is dzogchen, this is not dzogchen" ;-). We do not apply
like this. We dont define rule, structure, not saying right or wrong. First
we take responsibility of our own condition. Means, we become aware. and for
this teacher says "open your eyes". doesnt say you should do something. just
says open your eyes and become aware of your condition.
Then, because he doesnt know what is better for your,
teacher says do your best ;-)
Teacher is not judging, no one is judging, if you are judging
yourself, its your problem.
Becasuse is very difficult to judge yourself. how you judge. what is right,
what is wrong. According to what. we can talk for hours, months, years, lives,
what is right waht is wrong. Totally empty. In the end better do your best ;)

Means that always we are beginners and always we check our condition.
At the end we discover there is nothing to ask. Because when we are taking
responsibility for our condition, there is nothing to ask someone else.
Because should rely on presence, not on clarity of teacher, clarity of
something else, rules and so on. Then Santi Maha Sangha text says,
when you don;t know what to do, copy the teacher. At least his style make sense. ;-)
